JAXFront is the main product of xcentric and has been started its development 2001. JAXFront was developed for customer projects (standalone & web) being able to have a fast & generic mechanism to generate & maintain their frontends under multiple UI channels (java/html). The development & maintenance costs could be reduced by 40% in all of these projects.
After having implemented a generic WebRenderer based on XHTML for JAXFront, the idea was to submit form data (xml instances) to a server within the browser. JAXForms was born. JAXForms is based on top of JAXFront and allows to maintain forms online and track incoming form data through a smart workbench.
